ITLPD is coming up!

17 more days to go until International Talk Like A Pirate Day! Arrrr I be mad I cannot celebrate like a true pirate. Alas the tradition lives on without Mary-Morgan Flint the Red. But ye better be ready for some pirate festivities at this viking port come next year! Arr!! This year I be swaggerin’ and growlin’ on me own awaiting the wee little pirate lad.

In honor of Mary-Morgan Flint I have started to read the awesome book: Cap’n Billy “The Butcher” MacDougall’s Guide to Pirate Parenting (Why you should raise your kids as pirates and 101 tips on how to do it). Thank you Elizabeth for the book! I am no longer nervous about becomming a parent! The tips are great.

And to honor the original Pirate Party at Mary-Morgan’s lair I thought a couple of pictures from last year’s bash would be appropriate. I will miss this little get together… Ahhh the memories… of Kaixia climbing the tree, Steve trying to put out the fire in the grass with his sword, pillaging the nearby (and closed) gas station for more ale, and the list goes on.
